About the role
- Brainstorm and develop creative concepts for campaigns that resonate with medical learners, institutional faculty, and healthcare professionals.
- Translate business objectives into compelling visual solutions tailored to target audiences.
- Create high-quality digital assets including web page layouts, social media graphics, email designs, presentation decks, infographics, paid advertising creatives, and event materials.
- Produce print collateral such as brochures, one-pagers, and conference and promotional materials.
- Incorporate feedback efficiently and iterate on assets to meet project goals.
- Apply Sketchy's brand identity (typography, color, layout, and tone) consistently across all touchpoints.
- Design graphics optimized for web and social platforms.
- Ensure all digital assets meet platform-specific technical requirements including dimensions, file sizes, formats, safe zones, and aspect ratios.
- Create responsive designs that work seamlessly across different screen sizes.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand objectives and refine creative approaches.
- Present concepts and design rationale clearly and persuasively.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of professional design experience in both digital and print.
- Portfolio: Required for consideration; should showcase a balance of web, digital, and print work, as well as evidence of conceptual thinking.
- Technical skills/tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign are highly valued).
- Figma for digital/web layouts and collaborative design work, Google Suite.
- Strong understanding of digital design best practices, including responsive design principles, web accessibility, and platform-specific requirements.
- Experience designing for email campaigns, paid ads, and organic social content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Knowledge of print production standards (export settings, file formats, color profiles) for occasional print projects.
- Strong communication, ability to present ideas clearly, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for staying current with emerging platforms, design trends, and tools in the digital space.
- Bonus points: motion graphics or basic animation skills, understanding of A/B testing and data-informed decisions, experience with healthcare or medical education.
