About the role
- Lead and manage grant projects across Skeleton Technologies entities.
- Drive grant utilization by identifying, implementing, and optimizing funded activities.
- Prepare, review, and submit high-quality technical and financial reports.
- Identify funding opportunities and coordinate competitive grant applications aligned with company strategy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (R&D, Sales, management) to align grant activities with strategic goals.
- Build and manage partnerships, including consortium development for grant applications.
- Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, project authorities, and partners.
- Monitor relevant research, market trends, and funding landscapes to support strategic decision-making.
- Represent the company at grant-related events and forums.
- Facilitate communication between R&D, partners, and project stakeholders.
- Support commercial opportunities arising from grant-funded projects.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in the STEM-Field, with a business focus.
- 5-10 years professional experience in grant management and acquisition, public funding, or project finance.
- Proven track record of securing and managing multi-million Euro grants (e.g., Horizon Europe, Innovation Fund, IPCEI, or national funds like KFW/EAS).
- Experience in a Deep-tech or Manufacturing environment.
- Managing of the full grant lifecycle: Being able to identify funding opportunities and to conduct and manage consortium building as well proposal writing and final auditing.
- Financial Literacy: Being able to develop complex project budgets, manage cash flow projections and handle financial reporting.
- Structured working style, clear communicator.
