About the role
- You are responsible for designing and advancing complex Microsoft Azure architectures with a focus on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- You implement and strategically evolve core Azure services such as Compute, Storage, Networking, App Services and Microsoft Entra ID.
- You conduct architecture reviews and act as a technical sparring partner for our clients.
- You establish automation standards based on Infrastructure as Code and ensure consistent, reproducible deployments.
- You design holistic approaches for Identity, Security, Networking, Monitoring, Backup and Disaster Recovery.
- You support migrations and modernization initiatives and serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
Requirements
- Several years of solid experience in designing and implementing Microsoft Azure architectures.
- Proven track record of redesigning and strategically evolving existing cloud environments.
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code, automation and modern deployment approaches.
- You understand Networking, Microsoft Entra ID and Cloud Security not in isolation but as integral parts of a platform.
- Ideally, you have experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Azure migrations or AKS, and certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-305.
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
