About the role

  • Responsible for operational and strategic management as Branch Manager in building and industrial construction
  • Acquisition of new construction projects; maintenance and expansion of existing client relationships
  • Monitoring and controlling project execution with respect to costs, schedules, quality and occupational safety
  • Budget planning, cost control and ensuring the profitability of all projects
  • Leadership, motivation and development of an interdisciplinary team
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and standards in construction
  • Close cooperation with internal departments and external partners (designers, subcontractors, etc.)
  • Development and implementation of business strategies to increase the branch’s market presence and competitiveness

Requirements

  • Degree in civil engineering, architecture or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in a leadership role in building/industrial construction, ideally as a Branch Manager / Senior Site Manager or in a comparable position of responsibility
  • Solid knowledge of construction execution, project control and contract law (VOB/BGB)
  • Proven success in acquiring and delivering large-scale construction projects
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, analytical skills and a results-oriented working style
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, plus confident negotiation ability
  • Willingness to take responsibility and make business decisions
  • Good knowledge of construction and planning software as well as MS Office
