About the role
- Provide support to ensure effective delivery of activities in the program to required safety, quality, time and cost targets
- Driving the delivery of contract/package activities to ensure they are delivered safely on time, to budget
- Developing and implementing strategies and plans in line with overall program execution plan (PEP)
- Monitoring and managing the progress of the schedule, tracking progress against milestones, deadlines, budget
- Anticipating, managing, and resolving issues within the contract or package, and escalating any issues to the Delivery Manager
Requirements
- Educated to Degree / HNC in a Mechanical Engineering / Construction discipline (LV, HV, MEP installations)
- Educated to Nuclear installation standards including safety critical systems
- Working towards a professional qualification in Project Management such as APM PMQ or other recognized qualification
- Track record of delivering projects in complex environments, ideally within the Nuclear Energy sector or similar regulated environment
- Experience working on heavily unionized sites and alongside IR managers and Trade union representatives
- Understanding of nuclear safety culture and experience on projects with a strong Health & Safety agenda
