About the role
- Join the experienced team at SiXworks as a Solutions Architect (Cross Domain)
- Develop and deploy Cross Domain Solutions
- Design and assure safe importing and exporting data
- Assess product marketplace for functional component requirements
- Convey technical requirements to software developers
- Understand user requirements and translate into solution design
- Present technical information to non-technical audiences
- Work with hardware- and software-based cross domain approaches
- Utilize knowledge of cryptography and public key infrastructure
- Collaborate with MOD systems and assurance processes
- Engage with security hardened systems and cloud deployment automation
Requirements
- Developing and deploying Cross Domain Solutions, including their design, use, testing and assurance
- Sound understanding of the NCSC patterns and guidance for safely importing and exporting data
- Ability to assess the product marketplace for products which meet requirements of the functional components of the solution
- Ability to convey technical requirements for bespoke components required to software developers
- Ability to understand user requirements and translate these into solution design
- Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- Experience of working with both hardware- and software-based cross domain approaches
- Strong knowledge of cryptography and public key infrastructure
- Experience of MOD systems and processes
- Experience of MOD assurance processes
- Familiarity / Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server, Containerisation, PKI, Micro segmentation, HSM’s, Microservices architecture, knowledge or awareness of zero trust architecture, experience of working in air gapped or highly regulated environments, experience of working/designing security hardened systems
