About the role
- As a (Senior) Key Account Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for the strategic management and growth of mid-sized and major accounts.
- Your primary objective is to build long-term partnerships with our clients and to drive their revenue growth.
- You support and coordinate tenders/RFPs in collaboration with our Tender & Implementation team.
- You analyze market and competitor trends to identify new business opportunities.
- You serve as the interface to our SIXT regional and country organizations and negotiate comprehensive, customized framework agreements.
- You are responsible for meeting sales KPIs, achieving your appointment targets, maintaining the CRM tool, spotting new business opportunities, identifying optimization potential, deriving recommendations for action and implementing them.
- You structure your week independently, balancing on-site customer visits with the preparation and follow-up work in the office.
- You are responsible for customer satisfaction and for implementing SIXT's corporate and sales strategy.
Requirements
- You have completed commercial vocational training with additional qualification or hold a degree in business/economics (university/FH/advanced technical college).
- You bring proven success in account management or business development in a national or international environment.
- You are comfortable engaging with major industry players and key decision-makers.
- You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality and work in a structured way.
- You are comfortable traveling within your region (NRW) 3–4 days per week to visit customers in person.
- You have strong knowledge of sales tools (ideally Salesforce) and are proficient in MS Office.
- You are fluent in German and English.
