Accountant

• Perform daily and weekly cash accounting and bank reconciliations.
• Create and maintain support schedules and reconciliations for prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and general expenses.
• Manage all aspects of fixed assets, including capitalization vs. expense, depreciation, and disposals.
• Record journal entries, review supporting workpapers, reconcile accounts, and prepare month-end closing reports.
• Maintain annual report calendar and file online submissions on a routine basis.
• Work with internal parties and external auditors for annual financial statement audit and tax returns.
• Collaborate with other departments to obtain information needed to reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Manage ad-hoc accounting project deliverables as required, ensuring timely completion using extensive spreadsheet skills including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and others.
