About the role

  • Execute trades and manage portfolio risk across CEX/DEX platforms, following team rotas for coverage (CET time zone).
  • Monitor markets for yield, arbitrage, and alpha opportunities.
  • Oversee market-making books with smooth risk handovers and compliance.
  • Work with Tokenomics, Quant, and Tech teams to refine trading strategies, tools, and data pipelines.
  • Develop scalable solutions: pricing models, hedging frameworks, and backtesting tools.
  • Provide real-time feedback on market dynamics and strategy performance.
  • Interface with clients in key regions, explaining trading/market-making principles clearly.
  • Share trader insights on market structure, token dynamics, and execution trends.
  • Ensure adherence to global regulations and internal reporting standards.
  • Maintain robust treasury visibility and risk controls.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of crypto trading experience (hedge fund/quant roles welcome), with expertise in market-making, execution, and strategy.
  • Strong quantitative background (Math, Physics, CS, etc.)—degree from a top institution preferred.
  • Python proficiency (low-latency JVM optimization is a plus).
  • Deep knowledge of DEXs, DeFi, on-chain analytics, and trading bots.
  • Experience with derivatives (Perps, Options, Futures) and hedging strategies (e.g., gamma/delta-1).
  • Analytical mindset: skilled in data pipelines, tick data, stats modeling, and order book dynamics.
  • Risk-aware, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communicator – you thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first, multicultural team.
  • Self-starter with ownership mentality, time-zone flexibility, and a reliable remote setup.
