About the role
- Execute the hiring process for technical and non-technical roles, from posting jobs to coordinating offer letters.
- Proactively look for candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, and professional networks to build a pipeline of talent for IT and defense-focused roles.
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess technical fit, security clearance eligibility, and cultural alignment.
- Manage interview scheduling across multiple time zones and stakeholders using our applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Ensure every applicant receives clear, timely communication throughout the process.
- Facilitate the new hire process, ensuring equipment, accounts, and orientation schedules are ready for Day 1.
- Assist employees with basic benefits questions (health, dental, 401k) and support open enrollment periods.
- Maintain accurate digital files and employee data within the HRIS (e.g., Namely, Unanet).
- Assist with state registration filings and ensure labor law posters and policies are up to date.
- Help organize virtual or in-person team events and serve as a friendly resource for general employee inquiries.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience, with a primary focus on technical recruitment.
- Experience sourcing and hiring for technical roles (e.g., Software Engineers, DevOps, Analysts) or government contracting roles.
- Familiarity with basic HR concepts (benefits, onboarding, compliance) and a desire to learn more.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable reaching out to candidates and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Experience using an ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
- High attention to detail and the ability to keep track of multiple candidates and administrative tasks simultaneously.
