About the role
- Design and develop applications software and systems in the ServiceNow Platform
- Collaborate with teammates in the planning, design, development, and utilization of data processing systems
- Determine computer user needs, analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls
- Design and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
Requirements
- Minimum of 16 years' experience
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Engineering preferred
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow Development Platform including ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HR Module, Customer Service Management (CSM), Asset Management, Change Management, Customer Development, CMDB, and the Service Status Portal
- Proven success developing ServiceNow products using JavaScript and other coding applications
- Database administration (Oracle or MYSQL) experience
- Ability to efficiently and appropriately estimate work effort requirements as part of an Agile Scrum
- Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both in a team and as an individual contributor
- Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
- High degree of initiative, creativity, and technical ability
- Ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions
