About the role

Develop innovative and effective solutions for our DoD customers within the IC sector
Collaborate with team members to deliver impactful results for mission goals
Engage in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of storage systems

Hands-on engineering experience with NetApp and other storage technologies
Knowledge of protocols such as S3, CIFS, NFS, iSCI, and Fiber Channel Block Storage (SAN)
Experience with capacity planning and sizing storage and backup environments
Experience in performance tuning and optimizing storage and backup environments
Experience with data center migrations and storage replication technologies
Senior-level experience with design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale systems
Strong understanding of high availability concepts and implementation of key components in storage environments
Understanding of fundamental hardware concepts: disk, memory, CPU, NIC, HBA, firmware, RAID, performance concepts
Strong understanding of essential TCP/IP concepts
Experience connecting storage arrays to Hypervisor Technologies (NUTANIX, VMWARE VCF, OpenStack)
Understanding of security best practices and federal hardening requirements
CompTIA Security+ or similar certification for IAT Level II DoD 8570 compliance
Proficient written and oral communication skills
Strong collaborative attitude and ability to work in a team environment
