About the role

  • Create an exceptional experience for team members to thrive by fostering engagement, encouraging solutions, and facilitating effective communication.
  • Understand, track, and analyze production and sales metrics.
  • Develop, implement, and communicate a production plan based on capacity and workflow.
  • Ensure proper communication channels are maintained between sales and production staff.
  • Assist and empower the Service Advisor team to meet goals and performance metrics.
  • Take ownership of gross profit by managing parts and labor margins, as well as inventory control.
  • Monitor total shop productivity and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure proper staffing and coverage through effective recruitment and scheduling.
  • Provide continuous training and career development for all team members.
  • Hire, train, and lead location staff with a focus on company culture and cohesion.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry and service operations.
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally as an automotive service manager or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of energy and the ability to set priorities.
