About the role

  • Support the transition from a hybrid operations model to a fully staffed 24/7 Remote Operations Center
  • Establish and refine shift structures, roles, escalation protocols, and operating rhythms
  • Ensure continuity, stability, and performance during and after the transition
  • Lead real-time monitoring and operational support of solar assets across the fleet
  • Oversee alarm management, issue triage, and dispatch to field teams
  • Ensure timely response, communication, and resolution of plant issues
  • Partner with internal teams and external consultants to implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other processes
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of ROC operators
  • Work closely with Performance Engineering, Asset Management, O&M, and Compliance teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in renewable energy, utilities, or power operations
  • 3+ years managing a monitoring, dispatch, or operations center
  • Experience working in dynamic or transitioning operational environments
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA systems and monitoring platforms
