About the role

  • Oversee multiple communities and the CM’s assigned to those communities
  • Coordinate all aspects of the new home construction from start to finish
  • Ensure that schedules and budgets are followed
  • Manage the construction of multiple homes in an assigned subdivision from permit to closing
  • Schedule job site subcontractors
  • Schedule several homebuyer walk-throughs, and inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Drive team performance and permeate the company’s culture by influencing team and new employees
  • Assist the Area Construction Manager as needed, by being the point person for buyer escalations, contractor alignment, plan and takeoff revisions, and cost savings

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years new home building experience
  • Natural born leader of both people and process
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and the desire to work in a team environment
  • Team building

  • Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Will require travel to multiple construction sites within a territory where temperature, weather and noise may vary
  • Must be on-call to address employee concerns, delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite
