Install and provide on-demand/scheduled service and training for general-purpose and customer-specific equipment
Daily travel by auto with frequent overnight stays; 1 to 6 hours drive time daily
Perform tasks in accordance with Safety regulations and protocols; complete safety training
Document daily service activities and expenses accurately
Identify and diagnose complex problems; read blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics
Provide technical support and training to Signode Technicians; monitor and manage service schedules
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic equipment breakdowns; disassemble, replace parts, adjust and test equipment
Coordinate pre-installation meetings, inspect sites, install, adjust and test equipment under supervision
Report unsafe conditions and suggest solutions; maintain customer relationships; communicate with stakeholders
Intermediate PLC troubleshooting and repair; identify upgrade/retrofit opportunities; prepare reports and service bulletins
Assist Regional Service Manager with inventory sourcing and parts for assigned equipment
Requirements
High School Degree, Technical or similar College Degree
4-5 years of transferable experience
Electrical, Mechanical, Blueprints, Schematics and PLC background
Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
Desirable: Professional course (electrical or mechanical or automation courses)
