About the role

  • Develop and execute company’s pricing strategy through a partnership with internal stakeholders to implement pricing strategies along with process improvement initiatives
  • Provide timely updates regarding supply and logistics opportunities to effectively capture operational revenue through margin optimization due to market dynamics
  • Maintain and update all internal pricing databases (supplier, transportation, etc.) along with the customer account setup process and continued management
  • Analyze to identify actionable insights around daily and weekly price optimization strategy
  • Analyze the performance of active supply and transportation contracts (confirm and validate primary supply and carrier contracts are being fully utilized)
  • Develop and implement analytics dashboards and tools to identify actionable business decisions
  • Establish and distribute KPI reporting to measure the success of pricing strategy and execution
  • Monitor pricing indices for market trends and communicate real-time recommendations to capture market arbitrage opportunities to internal stakeholders
  • Research and enhance supply chain pricing opportunities through market supply/carrier alterations
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to formulate sufficient margins for all RFP opportunities
  • Ad-hoc projects as identified by the Director, Fuel Operations
  • Assist with bulk spot trades required to balance positions vs. changing demand
  • Grow and develop SIGNATURE ENERGY Fuels employees to build depth and capacity for the overall team
  • Create and build new tools to improve process efficiency and promote daily accountability
  • Adapt to an ever-changing supply and logistics environment providing support and assistance when needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience/training
  • Advanced MS Excel required; Proficient with Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Outstanding analytical thinking abilities coupled with excellent research skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to understand and manage complex processes and effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels within the organization as well as external contacts
  • Working system knowledge of index pricing systems along with Transport4 for pipeline logistics
  • Ability to travel when needed
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Operations, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience/training
  • 2+ years of experience in a detail-oriented position in a high financial/operational risk area
  • Working knowledge of fuel supply chain/logistics
  • Intermediary Power BI or Tableau experience
