About the role

  • *Innovation Portfolio Strategy and Roadmapping*
  • - Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for IT innovation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • - Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new technologies and innovation opportunities to enhance business capabilities.
  • - Collaborate with leadership to define the vision and strategic direction of the innovation portfolio.
  • *Governance and Oversight*
  • - Establish and maintain governance frameworks to oversee the lifecycle of innovation initiatives.
  • - Define criteria for project evaluation, approval, and prioritization based on strategic value, risk, and ROI.
  • - Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • *Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication*
  • - Act as a liaison between IT, business units, and external partners to ensure alignment on innovation goals.
  • - Present portfolio updates, project statuses, and insights to executives and other stakeholders.
  • - Foster cross-functional collaboration to facilitate successful project execution.

  • - Identify and mitigate risks associated with innovation initiatives, including technical and operational challenges.

Requirements

  • **Minimum Education and/or Experience:**
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • - 5+ years of experience in IT portfolio management, innovation strategy, or a related field.
  • - Strong understanding of IT roadmaps, governance frameworks, and emerging technologies.
  • - Proficiency in project/portfolio management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
  • **Additional knowledge and skills:**
  • - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
