About the role

  • Develop and execute a targeted business strategy for Utility and Co-op markets
  • Serve as the account lead for Utility & CoOp clients
  • Provide all documents necessary for the Utility or CoOp to approve AHV as a potential supplier
  • Attend and represent Applied High Voltage at industry conferences, trade shows, and Enterprise meetings
  • Build and manage a growing pipeline of project opportunities, converting leads into contracts
  • Qualify opportunities and collaborate with our Engineering teams to shape proposals and pricing strategies
  • Maintain deep understanding of the growing and shifting needs of the Utilities in each region
  • Deliver against personal and company financial targets, including sales and profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with direct interface to the utility market
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth in the Utility sector
  • Experience leading and winning opportunities >$1M in the Utility markets
  • Proficiency in managing sales pipelines and using CRM tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Develop/expand a network of relationships across the Utility segment including uncovering potential growth hires of Electrical Power Engineers, Civil Engineers and Transmission Line Engineers
