About the role
- Work under a Senior Software lead to develop new software for the Remotely Operated Tracking Radar #1 (ROTR1) at the China Lake Range.
- Design, develop, test, and deliver new software for the ROTR1 radar system.
- Enable the ROTR1 hardware suite to function and support critical T&E and validation missions for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division.
- Collaborate with team members and integrate software with radar, optical sensor, and servo systems.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Red Hat Linux with real-time extensions.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- C++
- Real-time programming
- Servo Software and data filtering
- Eclipse and/or Qt development environment(s)
- Radar, optical sensor, and servo concepts and terminology
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Software Engineering, or related field of study.
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher. (Clearance may be sponsored)
