About the role
- Manage the full lifecycle of our internship recruitment process
- Specialize in identifying and attracting top student talent from universities nationwide
- Develop and implement campus-specific recruitment strategies to attract high-potential student talent
- Build strong relationships with universities, career centers, professors, and student organizations
- Lead campus recruitment initiatives including information sessions
- Create compelling internship job descriptions
- Source candidates through university channels
- Leverage student-focused social media platforms
- Conduct preliminary candidate screenings
- Coordinate interview processes
- Maintain accurate candidate data in the ATS
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers
- Design exceptional candidate experiences for students
- Collaborate with business leaders on internship needs
- Track program metrics
- Develop intern-to-employee conversion strategies
- Stay current on university recruitment best practices
- Support diversity initiatives to ensure an inclusive candidate pool
Requirements
- Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
- Typically 2+ years of related experience
- Possesses recruiting knowledge and basic understanding of business groups operations and basic knowledge of overall recruiting strategies
- Able to correlate manager recruiting needs into sourcing an effective talent pipeline
- Ability to promote strategic ideas and works closely with business leadership to impact talent strategies and recruiting processes based on business demand
- Experience using social media networks to look for and connect with potential candidates
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software
- Familiarity with social media recruiting and employer branding
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring
