About the role
- Oversee and guide the team leads responsible for daily spacecraft operations
- Manage and coordinate the efforts of operations, subsystem engineering, ground systems, and mission planning teams
- Supervise team leads in their adherence to operational safety, cybersecurity, and risk-management protocols
- Oversee the development and evaluation of training programs for flight controllers and subsystem specialists
Requirements
- Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +8 yrs experience)
- Typically 10+ years of related experience (or Masters + 8 years of experience)
- Demonstrated expertise in Systems Engineering principles and practices
- Progressive experience developing systems architecture and performing V&V activities
- Ability to travel occasionally to Colorado Springs, CO
- Active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance
