About the role

  • Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations
  • Responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and provide onsite training

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
  • A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
  • Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques
  • Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts
  • Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time
