About the role
- develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement
- prepare bid packages, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals
- negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend new subcontractors
- administer standard subcontracts agreements and lead complex negotiations
- monitor subcontractor performance
- serve as a subcontracts subject-matter-expert (SME) and mentor to the Subcontracts organization
- support, develop, and/or facilitate recurring refresher compliance and FAR training
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 14 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- 10+ years of practical FAR Part 12 (sub)Contract experience
- 10+ years of practical FAR Part 15 (sub)Contract experience
- Cost / Price Analysis Experience
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
