About the role
- Perform structural engineering tasks for ISR and aviation systems
- Conduct static and/or dynamic analyses and simulations
- Work in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Author substantiation reports and perform fatigue/damage tolerance analyses (preferred)
- Support design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and logistics as part of SAOC program
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related discipline
- Typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
- Understanding of engineering principles and practices
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Experience to Static and/or Dynamic Analyses
- Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment
