About the role
- Planning and management of the chapter outings program
- Coordination and integration with local group outings
- Defining overall trip mix and managing daily operations
- Managing program finances and achieving budgeted income and expense goals
- Coordinating with Development Director for fundraising opportunities
- Implementing strategies for leader recruitment and training
- Integrating conservation themes on trips
Requirements
- Strong outdoors competencies including hiking, canoeing, kayaking, trail and GPS navigation, experience with camping set up and break down
- Community organizing experience with a strong desire to engage in collaboration, conduct outreach, and build networks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Committed to continuously evolving your understanding of systems of oppression
- Ability to see mistakes as growth opportunities and inspire others
