About the role
- Delivers consulting project activities, as a subject matter expert in radiation therapy, through medium- to long-term engagements.
- Assists customers in developing best practice clinical operations with an emphasis on patient outcomes.
- Technical responsibilities may include evaluation of business processes, recommending process changes, process documentation, and problem identification.
- Supports product training and implementation through defined processes, access to eLearning, and onsite training.
- Owns workflow current state to future state mapping with associated gap analysis.
- Provides onsite support during system Go-Live and immediate post-Go-Live periods.
- Represents Varian ethics, values, and business practices with all internal and external constituents.
Requirements
- BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience in clinical operations driving strategic and business planning, financial and operational performance
- RTT or CMD with a history of at least 6 years of direct patient care experience, Management and aptitude of standardized guidelines preferred
- 8+ years combined experience with Oncology setting and Healthcare Technology vendor(s)
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills with a proven track record of collaborative and consensus-building
- Obtains and completes Varian training plan specific to assigned responsibility.
- Meets all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to gain VMS client site access, unless prohibited by law.
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
