About the role

  • Lead the charge in improving, harmonizing, standardizing, and ensuring compliance and accuracy in key accounting processes globally.
  • Engage, inspire and provide strong development support for the direct team according to their knowledge and skills.
  • Drive the implementation of new processes, best practices and changes globally in order management and backlog reporting.
  • As a key working partner of business teams & other finance teams (including Strategic Marketing – product commercialization, Sales, IT and Finance), provide accounting guidance in terms of revenue recognition for new deals/new business models/new business projects.
  • Prepare and review regular and ad-hoc financial analysis and reports.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in accounting and finance, with hands-on experience in Revenue Recognition.
  • A degree in accounting or finance.
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral.
  • Experienced in applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Possess an analytical and problem-solving orientation, with a natural curiosity about business issues, drivers, and solutions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Capability to lead discussions with accounting and non-accounting teams.
  • Management experience or supervisory equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS 15 (or ASC 606).
