About the role

  • Develop, align and implement the global Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategy
  • Translate strategic business objectives into actionable SCM roadmaps, initiatives and investment priorities
  • Assess current supply chain performance and design robust future operating models
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve productivity, agility and resilience
  • Define, monitor and continuously refine KPIs and performance metrics to measure supply chain effectiveness and efficiency
  • Synthesize insights and produce high-quality strategic recommendations for senior leadership
  • Act as a strategic partner to supply chain executives and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Lead complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives
  • Support digitization and automation initiatives in close collaboration with IT and global functions
  • Assess global supply chain risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field with a similar focus
  • Several years of proven experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in a global operations environment (healthcare or medical technology experience is an advantage)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, build consensus and drive collaboration across different functions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel up to 10–20%.
