About the role

  • Takes responsibility for all general, and overarching and non-specialized financial matters.
  • Lead a team responsible for Contract Accounting for the U.S. in-vitro business (Diagnostics).
  • Ensure accuracy of books and records and high quality of contract financial data.
  • Perform contract accounting for month, quarter and year end closing.
  • Prepare and collaborate on financial reporting (financial disclosures).
  • Drive process improvements over the contract’s lifecycle.
  • Manage a team under direct leadership to ensure accuracy on financial records/internal controls.
  • Support internal and external auditors, and guide teams to solve complex SAP and business accounting related challenges.
  • Actively support the implementation of a new SAP platform (P58).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years related professional experience with accounting and leasing operations.
  • Advanced accounting knowledge, including Multiple Element Arrangements (“MEA” – IFRS 15), Contract Combinations, and Leasing (IFRS 16).
  • Demonstrate technical and analytical skills and proficiency with SAP functionality and knowledge of accounting guidelines.
  • Ability to perform Contractual Pricing, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) & PV/FV analyses.
  • Familiarity with commercial and lease contract documentation.
  • Experience in Portfolio Sales, Acquisitions and Servicing.
  • Experience with end of contract term Asset Management and Remarketing initiatives.
  • Strong people skills with ability to influence, motivate and develop team.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamically changing environment.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and ability to drive change management.
