About the role

  • Act as a single point of contact for our customers
  • Attend onsite customer visits (including customers, third party supplier partners); typically, 3 sites visit per project per year
  • Help customers prepare their facility for a successful and efficient installation
  • Issue documentation explaining requirements
  • Extensive interaction with Sales, Order Processing, Installations Resource Managers and customers' teams
  • Review Sales Orders (nothing any unusual requirements) and following up with appropriate action after gained experience
  • Oversee schedules and target budgets for installs and rigging activities
  • Monitor the customer facility preparations and coordinate equipment shipment schedules to ensure timely and effective installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Advise customers on complex facility requirements, needs and/or changes including, but not limited to, safety requirements, room layout and electrical, plumbing and HVAC requirements
  • Provide reports indicating installation activities and analysing schedules
  • Builds expert knowledge in our industry and conveys that knowledge to benefit our customer experience
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of building codes, OSHA (Health & Safety), and other legal requirements related to the construction industry/radiation environment and Varian specific data packages/drawings
  • Lends expertise to internal teams
  • Applies best practice and lessons learned

Requirements

  • Experience in Project Management, Field Customer Service or Engineering
  • Strong customer service acumen
  • General appreciation of construction, radiation regulations and network design
  • Fluency in both a Scandinavian language and English (both verbal and written communication)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in field
  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, AI, Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired
  • Knowledge of Varian's software suite is preferable
  • Extensive networking skills
