About the role

  • Provide support to cooperatives and members on products involving Foreign Exchange and International Trade operations;
  • Support internal bank areas (Risk, Accounting, Tax, Finance, Treasury, etc.);
  • Good judgment and flexibility to handle urgent requests, ensuring clarity and security with speed;
  • High capacity to adapt to regulatory updates;
  • Daily reconciliation of foreign currency statements;
  • Review of the accounting trial balance and daily reconciliations, ensuring accuracy;
  • Proper handling of the Area’s Internal Controls demands (legal documents, summaries, audit support, accounting reports, etc.);
  • Ability to connect accounting knowledge to FX routines, reconciliations, internal controls and the resolution of operational discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Completed degree, preferably in Accounting, International Trade, Business Administration or Economics.
  • Advanced Excel;
  • Knowledge of SQL and SAP is a plus;
  • Strong data analysis skills;
  • Previous experience in the financial market is desirable;
  • Intermediate to advanced English;
  • Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders;
  • Ability to remain calm and respond positively in a constant high-pressure environment;
  • Strong organizational sense and ability to manage concurrent tasks are essential;
  • Familiarity with the Change (Exchange) system is a plus;
  • Knowledge of the main FX transaction types and their respective follow-up processes/implications is a plus.
