About the role
- Opening business opportunities in domestic road transport (general cargo, less-than-truckload/partial loads, containers and special cargo) and for general cargo warehousing.
- Active prospecting and development of opportunities in domestic road transport among clients the company already serves in international import and export markets.
- Preparation of commercial proposals, negotiations and contract closures.
- Management of the customer portfolio, with a focus on relationship building and customer retention.
- Assessment of logistics needs and provision of complete solutions (customs clearance, warehousing, international and domestic transport).
- Tracking shipments and coordinating with operational areas.
- Market and competitor monitoring, with recommendations for commercial strategies.
- Representing the company in meetings, client visits, events and trade shows.
- Issuing periodic performance reports and commercial pipeline updates.
Requirements
- Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade or related fields.
- Proven experience in road freight transport.
- Additional courses in transportation, integrated logistics or sales will be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and productivity tools.
- Must have own vehicle (mileage reimbursement based on kilometers driven).
- Preferable, but not mandatory: previous experience with freight forwarders, customs brokers, transport companies or logistics terminals; prior experience selling combined international and domestic logistics services (integrated solution packages).
