About the role
- Managing accounting transactions of the organization and group entities.
- Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Reconciling credit card statements, bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Computing taxes and preparing tax returns (including GST and Income Tax) and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Preparing and publishing financial statements in a timely manner.
- Preparing and presenting MIS reports to support management decision-making.
- Reporting on the company’s financial health and liquidity position.
- Supporting the audit process by reviewing financial transactions and documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies, regulations, and internal controls.
Requirements
- B.com / Inter-CA / CA Drop-outs
- Proven work experience as an Accountant (2–4 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books
- Experience in preparing MIS and management reports
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
