About the role
- evaluation and treatment of inpatients and outpatients including infants, toddlers, school age and adolescent children.
- Interacts with families and children of all ages in an age appropriate manner in order to foster a family-centered care environment.
- Supervisory responsibilities of physical therapist, occupational therapists, recreational / child life therapists, rehabilitation aides, students, and volunteers as assigned.
- Provides comprehensive compliant and safe clinical care demonstrating the philosophy of family centered care.
- Works with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet the needs of the pediatric patients and their family.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy.
- licensed in state of practice
- 1 year physical therapy experience preferred
- New graduates considered
- Pediatric experience preferred
