About the role

  • Oversees daily clinic workflows to ensure efficiency and patient-centered care
  • Supervises and coaches administrative and clinical support staff
  • Ensures adherence to pediatric-specific health regulations
  • Monitors revenue cycle with attention to subspecialty billing opportunities
  • Identifies gaps in authorizations, referrals and documentation
  • Fosters a child-friendly and family-centered environment
  • Designs and implements strategies to improve patient/family satisfaction
  • Handles escalated patient/family concerns
  • Uses data and root cause analysis to identify and solve workflow inefficiencies
  • Acts as a liaison across care teams, leadership and external partners
  • Recruits and retains staff experienced in pediatric care

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years progressive experience in clinic or healthcare operations
  • Proven track record managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing clinic workflows
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration (preferred)
  • Membership in American College of Healthcare (ACHE) (preferred)
  • Membership in Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) (preferred)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Certification (preferred)
  • 2+ years experience in Pediatric or Specialty care Settings (preferred)
