About the role
- Provide family-centered, age appropriate clinical cardio pulmonary care
- Utilize assessment findings to establish patient and family needs in collaboration with the health care team
- Communicate findings in both verbal and written format
- Seek personal/professional development and assure safe operation of life support equipment
- Take a leadership role as assigned
- Act as a clinical resource to other departments
- May precept staff after displaying proficiency
- Participate in hospital/departmental committees and research
Requirements
- Minimum: CA RT Licensure
- BLS
- PALS (within 6 months of hire)
- Preferred: 2 years pediatric experience
- National Registration by National Board for Respiratory Care
