About the role
- Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring a strong and sustainable pipeline.
- Identify and convert businesses in need of fleet management solutions, increasing Shippit’s presence across key industries.
- Consult with logistics, operations, and fleet managers to understand their challenges and position Shippit as a strategic solution.
- Lead commercial discussions, craft compelling proposals, and secure long-term contracts with prospective clients.
- Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to refine go-to-market strategies and customer engagement.
- Stay up to date with logistics and fleet management trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting through CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas, driving revenue growth.
Requirements
- Proven B2B sales experience as an Account Executive in the order fulfilment/management, logistics, WMS or ERP space.
- Understanding of the retail and eCommerce industry, including logistics and fulfillment challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong negotiation abilities, with a focus on value-driven sales and differentiation.
- A collaborative and proactive team player with a positive attitude.
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and processes efficiently.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce CRM.
