About the role
- Booking transport orders with external service providers (parcel carriers) and freight forwarders for general cargo
- Registrations for third-country shipments (export notifications, creation of export accompanying documents)
- Bookings in SAP, including returns and master data maintenance
- Administrative management of external warehouses
- Verification and coding of freight invoices
- Coordination with freight forwarders and internal departments
- Depending on qualification: preparation of export declarations and handling of dangerous goods (declaration)
- Trade show coordination and ensuring deliveries and collections at trade shows
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding agent (Speditionskaufmann/-frau) or an equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years' practical experience in logistics
- Knowledge of customs and foreign trade regulations is desirable
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP R/3 MM / WM / SD)
- Proficient user of MS Office applications
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Team player with good communication skills, an independent work style and the ability to operate in a dynamic environment
