About the role
- Support the sales team with customer inquiries by providing technical on-site consultation
- Assist with customer-specific configurations and develop tailored customer solutions
- Conduct instrument demonstrations in the Shimadzu laboratory demo environment
- Train customers on system and software operation following successful installation
- Handle after-sales support
- Develop market- or customer-specific applications to grow existing accounts and win new customers
- Document activities in our CRM system and assess project feasibility
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in an LC-MS environment
- Successfully completed degree in a natural science, or an engineering degree (University of Applied Sciences) or technician qualification with a practical focus on instrumental analysis (LC-MS, Q-TOF, MALDI)
- Solid knowledge of chromatography and mass spectrometry
- Experience in conducting trainings and developing applications
- High degree of solution-oriented thinking, independence, and personal responsibility
- Proficient MS Office skills
- Professional proficiency in German and English
- Driving license class B and willingness to travel up to 80%
