Accounting Manager

• Ensure day-to-day financial records and supporting documents of transactions are accurate, complete, and consistently maintained within the accounting system and physical filing repositories.
• Perform and reconcile bank accounts promptly, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Drive month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation within established timelines.
• Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audit requirements by preparing complete documentation and addressing audit inquiries promptly.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, government agencies, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions and timely compliance.
• Ensure timely compliance with internal company policies and statutory requirements, including submissions and reporting to government agencies such as PEZA, BOI, BIR, and other regulatory bodies.
• Support administrative functions
• Collaborate with internal and external teammates to resolve issues, improve coordination, and achieve departmental objectives.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, recommend practical solutions, and contribute to initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by manager
