About the role

  • Lead and grow business.
  • Lead and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement new strategies to increase productivity.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments and customers to ensure that all goals are aligned and met.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Provide world-class safety culture leadership.

Requirements

  • An education at the bachelor’s level or higher in both engineering and business management is preferred. Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations/general management with full P&L responsibility of $5-10M + and at least 8-10+ employees, ideally in an engineering or field services environment in manufacturing, MEP, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial.
  • Experience working with customers and building relationships.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with experience growing a business.
  • Self-starter.
  • Strong safely culture leadership experience.
  • A strong desire to "win"/competitive nature with a strong drive, energy, and motivation.
  • An interest and ability in being a hands-on leader.
  • Strong change management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
