About the role
- Lead and grow business.
- Lead and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement new strategies to increase productivity.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments and customers to ensure that all goals are aligned and met.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Provide world-class safety culture leadership.
Requirements
- An education at the bachelor’s level or higher in both engineering and business management is preferred. Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in operations/general management with full P&L responsibility of $5-10M + and at least 8-10+ employees, ideally in an engineering or field services environment in manufacturing, MEP, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial.
- Experience working with customers and building relationships.
- Strong leadership and management skills with experience growing a business.
- Self-starter.
- Strong safely culture leadership experience.
- A strong desire to "win"/competitive nature with a strong drive, energy, and motivation.
- An interest and ability in being a hands-on leader.
- Strong change management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
