About the role
- Play a key part in strengthening risk management across Engineering and Baggage at Heathrow.
- Help embed robust risk processes.
- Ensure high‑quality risk data.
- Support informed, risk‑based decision‑making by analysing trends and developing predictive insights.
- Drive continuous improvement to contribute to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent training and experience.
- Strong understanding of how risk informs and supports certified Management Systems (e.g., ISO 55000, 50000, 14000, 45000, 27000).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex risk concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Highly collaborative, with strong influencing skills and the ability to role‑model behaviours that support cultural and organisational change.
- **Desirable**
- Professional risk certification (e.g., IRM, APM) is highly desirable.
- Experience developing risk and assurance models for large organisations or similarly complex environments.
