About the role

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the eCommerce Specialist(s), ensuring high performance and professional growth.
  • Oversee daily operations of Shepard’s eCommerce platforms, with an emphasis on Salesforce-based systems.
  • Monitor platform performance, identify improvement opportunities, and coordinate system enhancements.
  • Ensure all event-specific configurations (catalogs, deadlines, promotions) are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Provide reporting and insights to leadership to guide strategic decisions.
  • Resolve escalated customer or technical issues and partner with IT on system improvements.
  • Support testing and implementation of new features, upgrades, and digital capabilities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce operations, including leadership/supervisory experience.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Salesforce-integrated platforms preferred.
  • Experience in the tradeshow or event industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of online ordering workflows, payment processing, and system integrations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with CRM/ERP systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
