About the role
- Maintain and increase Shaw’s profitability and market share in Bowling Green, KY.
- Develop good relationships with customers based on knowledge, service, trust, and integrity.
- Daily sales calls on existing customers emphasizing soft and hard surface flooring products.
- Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users.
- Analyze all leads provided by corporate reports.
- Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more.
- Prospect for viable new accounts while developing keen awareness of designated geographic area.
- Prepare reports of business transactions and sales.
- Communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales information and goals.
- Analyze sales statistics to aid in formulating goals.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma/GED required.
- Previous sales experience required.
- Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner.
- Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.
- Physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures.
- Must travel in a vehicle that can carry product sample boards.
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Must reside within the territory.
