Financial Planning and Analysis

• Serve as the principal FP&A partner to the Chief Financial Officer; build, run, and continuously evolve the annual operating plan, quarterly reforecast cycles, monthly close commentary, and the multi-year long-range plan.
• Act as a true business partner to the executive team, translating operational ambition into financial commitments and translating financial constraints into operational priorities.
• Drive deep, repeatable analytics around price/mix/traffic, labor productivity, food and paper, four-wall margin, AUV ramp curves, cohort performance, and channel profitability, surfacing the insights that drive same-Shack sales and margin expansion.
• Lead the Strategy & Enterprise Planning function; develop the multi-year financial framework that connects strategy, capital plan, P&L outlook, and shareholder expectations, including scenario, sensitivity, and risk-adjusted views.
• Partner closely with the head of Investor Relations to develop the financial narrative for earnings, guidance setting, Investor Day, and Board materials; ensure FP&A produces decision-ready analyses for every quarterly cycle and major external event.
• Build a best-in-class FP&A organization, creating the bench of next-generation finance leaders; act as career sponsor and coach, and ensure thoughtful coverage planning during team transitions and leaves.
• Continually upgrade planning systems, reporting cadences, and the financial data model; champion modern tooling (Workday, Workday Adaptive Planning, Tableau, Snowflake) and embed a single financial language across the enterprise.
• Partner closely with Controllership, Treasury, Tax, and Investor Relations to ensure FP&A outputs are auditable, defensible, and consistent with external disclosures and capital structure decisions, without owning those functions.
• Model and reinforce Shake Shack’s values and Enlightened Hospitality in every interaction; bring high standards, optimism, and a bias toward action to a publicly traded, growth-oriented business.

• Supports the design, development, and performance of the Workday HCM system - Recruiting preferred.
• Leads and/or participates in design discussions to define user requirements and translate them to solutions, advising users on best practices and cross functional dependencies.
• Builds and maintains custom reports and dashboards for cross functional partners.
• Analyzes data flow, processes, and configuration to recommend enhancement that will increase quality and efficiency.
• Provides troubleshooting support to employees and HR users in completing transactions and modifying back-end configurations.
• Supports the deployment and testing of configuration changes.
• Assists in leading Recruiting, Core HCM, Compensation, and Benefits processes (including Advanced Compensation and Open Enrollment).

Product Designer

• Own the digital roadmap, including gathering and developing requirements, briefing to internal and external partners, oversight over key milestones, integration into our online/offline channels.
• Manage multiple products and priorities, Own backlog and project grooming as well as prioritization of the digital roadmap with an eye for quick wins, revenue impact and improved customer experience.
• Lead the prioritization of epics / features / stories within the backlog of agile releases, and ensure that product managers are managing the flow of work
• Build strategic business cases for all digital projects incorporating internal stakeholder feedback, needs and priorities along with key inputs from Finance

Program Manager

• Lead the procurement and execution of the signage program for new Shack openings, relocations, remodels, and updates to existing locations.
• Manage national signage vendors, including pricing negotiations, contracts, production tracking, and vendor performance management.
• Develop and maintain national signage vendor partnerships and procurement standards to support scalable growth across the Shake Shack portfolio.
• Partner with the Design team to define signage design intent for each new Shack in alignment with code requirements and landlord restrictions, determine site-specific adaptations, and review and approve signage packages with signage vendors.
• Partner with the Construction team to ensure permits are secured, schedules are aligned, and sites are prepared for signage installation.
• Oversee signage budgets and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and procurement improvements.
• Coordinate permitting documentation and vendor submittals to support local approvals.
• Track production, shipping, and installation schedules to ensure signage aligns with construction milestones and opening timelines.
• Support the Construction team and general contractors by coordinating signage installation and addressing any special site requirements.
• Support signage service requests for existing Shacks, including maintenance, replacements, and updates as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement in signage procurement processes, vendor relationships, and program execution across the Shack portfolio.

• Oversees the execution of Team Member and Manager training within an assigned territory
• Provides feedback on Team Member and Manager training materials
• Facilitates LTO training and execution in assigned territory
• Sources Trainers and executes training for designated NSOs
