Responsible for applying principles of accounting to perform general accounting duties
Work closely with the Business Controller
Assist with the completion of timely and accurate monthly financial statements for the assigned business
Perform Fixed Assets Audits and ad hoc reporting
Comply with all the requirements and deadlines of Finance North America
Assist Business Controller with month-end financial reporting and analysis
Prepare fixed asset capitalization and asset maintenance reports
Analyze actual results against expected performance and communicate areas for improvement
Assist Business Controller in the entire financial cycle including budgeting/forecasting, internal and external audits, account analysis, and reconciliations

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of experience, including experience with month/year end close
2-3 years’ experience with financial systems (Oracle Projects)
Advanced level proficiency in English
Advanced level proficiency in mathematics
Strong business acumen/business awareness with solid technical and analytical background
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational and inter-personal skills
Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines
Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations to different levels of management
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment
Ability to consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Expert user level skills in MS Office Excel
Intermediate user proficiency in MS Office Word and PowerPoint
