About the role
- Reporting directly to the Design Business Lead
- Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our Mains Renewal Programme
- Accountable for a direct team and collaboration with supply chain partners
- Developing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure successful design, delivery, and handover of projects.
Requirements
- Ideally qualified in a technical engineering or design related discipline
- Experienced engineer with a strong background in design
- Leading successful design teams in a highly regulated industry such as water or gas
- Strong team manager with excellent planning and implementation skills
- Extensive experience of implementing CDM regulations in the design process
- Strong understanding of risk management in construction and operational design
- Experience working with a diverse team of different skillsets
- Building capacity and mentoring other engineers
- Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence required.
