About the role
- Be responsible for providing the design of technical solutions for the mains renewal programme
- Support and upskill Assistant Design Engineers and Senior Design Engineers
- Approve feasibility assessments for Mains Renewal projects
- Contribute to the early development of commissioning plans
- Conduct high-level appraisals and feasibility studies
- Ensure design standards and assurance processes are followed
- Support in the creation of the internal design process within Severn Trent
- Undertake proactive risk management and maintain risk registers throughout the design process
- Ensure Health and Safety considerations are integrated into the lifecycle of the mains renewal design
- Review designs from internal or external designers and provide support to the programme team
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role providing designs and specifications for Construction
- Full U.K driving license
- Right character, positivity and caring attitude
