About the role

  • Operate assets on the network on behalf of the construction team
  • Assist and support the Network Construction Manager in the scoping and delivery of Mains Renewal schemes
  • Work alongside the Lead Operative to deliver on-site activity
  • Undertake significant, large scale construction activity on-site
  • Conduct detailed surveys on DMA renewal options
  • Liaise and communicate with Network Control at critical stages of each scheme
  • Responsible for conducting valving due diligence for critical stages of the scheme
  • Oversee the installation of pressure control valves on the infrastructure network

Requirements

  • Full driving license
  • National Water Hygiene and NRSWA certifications
  • Significant experience working within utility-based industry
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to build successful working relationships
  • Experience in identifying risks and opportunities
